CALCIUM CHLORIDE POLICY
| The Maintenance Section arranges to
have the residential areas of all of the County’s gravel roads sprayed
with a calcium chloride solution each year as a dust control measure.
Spraying begins approximately 125 ft. before and ends approximately 125
ft. past a residence. This project is usually outsourced to a local
business. The application is done once each year, generally during the first
two weeks of June.
